"Stressful for a family trip"
The flights were definitely cheap, which is why we booked, but it didn’t feel very family-friendly once we were traveling. The seats felt cramped, and when we needed help with kid-related stuff, it took longer than expected. The extra fees also piled up fast, which made the whole thing feel less like a good deal. If I were flying alone, I might not mind, but with kids it just felt stressful and kind of overwhelming.

"Way too noisy to feel comfortable"
The flight was cheap, so I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the cabin noise was worse than I’ve experienced before. There was constant rattling and a loud engine sound the whole trip, to the point where I couldn’t really relax or even hear the announcements properly. The staff were perfectly fine, but I got off the plane with a headache. It’s the kind of thing that makes you question whether booking with them again is worth the savings.

"Awkward flight times, right?"
The flight schedule was just really inconvenient for me. None of the times worked with my plans, and then the changes somehow made it even harder to make everything fit. I can’t be the only one who found the timing awkward, right?

"Loyalty perks weren’t what I expected"
I signed up for the loyalty program thinking it would actually help me save a bit on HK Express flights, but after using it, I feel kind of misled.
The points take forever to add up, and when I finally tried to use them, there were so many restrictions and extra fees that it barely felt like a real discount. It’s like they make it sound useful, but then the details take away most of the value.

Maybe it’s better if you fly all the time, but for someone like me who only travels occasionally, it just feels frustrating and not worth the effort.

The flight itself was fine, but the cabin was freezing for most of the trip. I’ve been on plenty of flights before where it gets a little chilly, but this felt colder than usual and made it hard to get comfortable.

"Plane felt really worn out"
The plane looked old and not well taken care of. My seat was dirty, and the tray table was sticky, which was really unpleasant. The whole cabin just felt tired and worn out. I also got transferred around when I tried to get some help, which made the experience even more frustrating. Not what I expected from hkexpress.com, and it made even a short flight feel uncomfortable.

"So confused by their travel document info??"
I found the travel document info on hkexpress.com really confusing. I checked it before my flight, but then at the airport I was told something different about what I needed?? When I asked the staff, they basically just told me to read the website again, which didn’t help at all. I ended up stressed, wasting time, and feeling frustrated. I don’t think I’d book with them again.

I booked special assistance for my trip with HK Express, but it was really disappointing. When I got to the airport, the staff didn’t seem to know what had been arranged, so I had to explain everything all over again. There was a lot of waiting around, which made the whole experience stressful and not accessible at all. If you’re someone who genuinely needs help while traveling, I’d be very cautious about relying on them. I personally wouldn’t use HK Express again if I needed assistance

"Total chaos during a delayed HK Express flight"
My HK Express flight got delayed, the communication was an absolute disaster. The app said one thing, the airport screens said something else, and the staff barely gave any explanation. I felt like I was trying to solve a mystery just to figure out if my plane still existed.
Everyone was just standing around confused, not knowing if the flight was cancelled, delayed, boarding soon, or being launched into space for all we knew. The emails came way too late and were so unclear that they almost made things worse.

I know delays happen, and I can deal with that, but leaving passengers completely in the dark is what really drove me insane. It was stressful, frustrating, and way more dramatic than it needed to be. I’d seriously think twice before booking with them again.

"Would probably skip the food next time"
I flew with HK Express recently the onboard food was kind of a letdown. I know it’s a budget airline, so I wasn’t expecting anything amazing, but still… the food just looked really dry, and then when I tried it, it was bland too. The drink choices were also surprisingly limited, like I kept looking at the menu thinking there had to be more, but nope. And for the price, it just didn’t feel worth it at all. I don’t mind paying for food on a flight if it’s decent, but this was one of those times where I wished I’d just eaten before boarding or brought my own snacks. Next time I’d definitely skip buying anything onboard.

"Baggage fees felt a bit sketchy"
My bag wasn’t handled well, and then I got hit with extra fees at the counter that I definitely wasn’t expecting. The staff didn’t really explain what was going on, which made the whole thing feel kind of suspicious, like I was being charged more for something I couldn’t even fix at that point.

"Pretty uncomfortable flight"
The legroom was really tight, and the seat felt hard pretty much the entire flight. I was already feeling mentally drained, and being that uncomfortable just made it feel even longer. Definitely not a relaxing ride.

"Cabin was honestly dirty tbh"
I wasn’t happy with the cabin cleanliness at all. My seat area had crumbs everywhere, the tray table had sticky marks, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last flight lol. Even the window was all smudgy. I get that it’s a budget airline, but basic cleaning should still be a thing imo. Felt uncomfortable the whole trip.

Check-in was chaotic, boarding started late, the staff seemed confused, and there weren’t really any clear lines. Everyone was just kind of standing around trying to figure out where to go, not a great start to the trip.

I didn’t feel safe booking through this site. The payment page gave me a sketchy vibe, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that if something went wrong, I’d just be treated like a ticket number instead of a real customer. I ended up not trusting it enough to put my card info in.

"Flights never line up when I need them"
I like the idea of flying this route, but there just arent enough flights when I actually need them. I keep running into these random gaps in the schedule, and then I have to move plans around, which gets old fast. Would be way better if they had more regular flights.
